With so much knowledge and insight to share, below is a list of the presenters for this workshop.

Joan Gladwyn, Proofreader and Editor (BSc, MSc, Dip Edit) — Proper Words
Joan Gladwyn trained as a physicist in England, and worked first in industry, then as a physics teacher in the UK, and more recently as Science Outreach Coordinator at the University of Canterbury, after moving to New Zealand in 2003. Joan’s experience in proofreading publications during her time at UC prompted her to complete the Diploma in Proof Reading and Editing at the New Zealand Institute of Business Studies. Fascinated by words and language, Joan enjoys perfecting non-fiction manuscripts for her clients, whether on paper or screen. When not editing, Joan constructs personalised crosswords.
